This year, the "fête de la musique" on Santo rhymes with exchanges. Exchanges on different level, cultural exchange, first, with the move of the group Ice MC (dances Hip Hop, champions of Luganville) in Tasmalum and the coming of four groups of stringband of South Santo (including two of Tasmalum, one of Okoro and one of Sarete) and especially, by this skew, exchanges human, from 9am to 2pm in Tasmalum and from 3pm to 2am in Luganville.

The festival, very popular in 2006, was a really huge event in 2007. In front of a great amount of people (Unity Park was fulled), nearly a score of groups occurred the musical relay, very heteroclite programming this year since many groups of stringband were illustrated, which was not the case in 2006. Stringband with Seaside Stringband (Banban), Tanosiko Stringband (Mango), Wai boys (Tasmalum), Happy boys (Southern Santo), Iripo Stringband (Sarete, Southern Santo), Monikis Hill (Sarete, Southern Santo), Smoky boys (Plantation of Peter Colmar, East of Santo), Vatewia Stringband (man Efate in Luganville), Northern Boys (Monexil, close to Fanafo), Yatel Stringband (Sarakata, Luganville) and others come from the last moment, of Hip Hop with Ice MC (Mango) and Xtazy (Segond Canal, Luganville) for a revenge at the top to finish with the pop one, of the reggae and the zouk with NTN boys (Side River, Luganville), 2,6 Roots (Chapuis Luganville), Reals Survivors (Chapuis, Luganville) and Naia Bingi (mixture of vanuatais and caledonian) without forgetting the girls of Ste Thérèse (two girls of 7-8 years and two of 5-6 years) interpreting at sea “Belle île en mer” from Voulzy as well as the schoolgirls of Collège de Luganville, the festival of the music, initially envisaged until 10pm, finished towards 2am with the great relief of the technical staff.
