Alliance Française de Luganville has the largest French-speaking library on the island of Espiritu Santo. The youth part was renewed with more than 75% following a project successful in collaboration with the French association Biblionef and the support of the Alliance Française of Port-Vila. It should be reinforced still this year with the arrival of new books for youth as well for adult. A part of the library is dedicated to the Pacific with the presence of forty books on the Vanuatu and New Caledonia. The literature accessible to the members is varied enough magazines on the topicality with the traditional novels, while passing by the comic strips and the books for children. Members are free to use the media library for reading or borrowing the majority of the books.

AFL has many films, traditional French and European, innovations. The DVD are rented with the members. Currently, the list of the DVD of Alliance includes/understands more than 260 titles of which the traditional ones like Great Blue, of documentary as le peuple Migrateur and cartoon films like Kirikou et les bêtes sauvages.
