The Booster solution is based on 2 technologies: catching and compression. The process is very simple for the customer and no change in equipment is required. The installation is done automatically through the software download (970 Kb). The usage is very friendly: the program appears in Windows navigation bar; it can be reached for changing options. Upgrades are done remotely without customer intervention.

BOOSTER accelerates the following elements of web pages and email in order to send the information to your computer faster:

  • Web pages - HTML markup and JavaScript
  • Graphics including JPEG and GIF images
  • Text
  • Passive FTP
  • E-mail - SMTP, POP, IMAP (including file attachments!)

Although BOOSTER is able to accelerate many different types of online data, there are a few which cannot be accelerated:

  • Streaming media, audio and video files
  • Secure pages, such as those used for online banking and credit card forms
